Dr Kemi is a serious-minded woman but she is also one who balances her life with fun. Here are a few fun tidbits about her!
She was born in Harare, Zimbabwe ๐ฟ๐ผ on the 19th of July, 1984.
She is the 2nd of 4 children; she is the first daughter.
She has lived on five major continents and the Caribbean. She hopes to make it to Australia some day. As for Antarctica… Sheโll think about it!
She lived in Pyongyang, North Korea ๐ฐ๐ต for some time. Itโs always an interesting conversation starter (:
She understands and speaks some Spanish thanks to her time living in Buenos Aires, Argentina! She still takes classes today to sharpen her knowledge of the language!
She has toured the Great Wall of China ๐จ๐ณ and hopes to do so again someday.
She calls Tulsa, Oklahoma home. She planned to settle down there permanently, but God had other plans for her (:
Her movement around the world is because her father was a Diplomat with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Believe it or not, she is an introvert!
She prefers writing to speaking.
Her hobbies include cooking, reading, travelling, bonding with her family, exercising – 5 days a week, and much more!
She writes worship songs randomly. Maybe one day, an album?
She love meeting new people and learning about different cultures across the globe.
She believes it is important to work hard AND enjoy life hard. There must be a balance!
She enjoys reading (various topics) and acquiring new skills.
She still prefers physical books to kindle, etc
She started working at the age of 16 while in High School. This is not unusual in the United States.
She graduated High School from Victory Christian School in Tulsa, and earned her Bachelors/Masters degrees from The University of Oklahoma #boomersooner
She earned her Doctorate degree from Walden University.
She continues to sharpen herself through trainings particularly in the area of Human Resource Management.
She is also a freelance editor with a keen eye for detail.
For Dr Kemi, any day without fellowshipping with God is a wasted day!
